We have had a partnership with DYNA Training for the past 2 years and have run nine Core programmes. Six Programmes in Johannesburg, one in Durban, one in Cape Town and one cross border in Ghana. We are delighted and proud to say each one has been a huge success and inspiration to every person who has attended.
With a total of 203 students attending the programme to date, the feedback received indicates that they found the programme to be outstanding in all aspects. Comments have included that the programme has been ‘a life changing experience’, ‘everyone should attend’ and ‘this programmes brings you back to the basics, teaching you people skills, time management, and planning’.
The students have the opportunity to meet and interact with many different role players and aspects of the business, and as a whole have a greater understanding of Group Five! Another valuable aspect of this programme for Group Five is the Planning\ROI projects, which have benefitted both the individual and the business units as a whole. Group Five is currently looking at running additional programmes with DYNA in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and on-site in central Africa.
Group Five works with DYNA Johannesburg, DYNA Durban and DYNA Cape Town, and we would like to thank the facilitators Thomas Tschofen, Derek Wilson and Warwick du Preez for their passion and dedication!
A personal note of thanks and appreciation to the DYNA Team.
As you know it's almost 5 years since I attended the BMS 200 programme and I still refer back to it when dealing and managing staff. It is now a recommended programme within our organisation and along with many of my colleagues and our team members it is generally regarded as the programme that has made the most impact on us all.
The course is very interactive and I enjoyed the sharing of knowledge and experience with the team members from the different organisations, and fondly remember the fun we had while doing all that learning.
Learning is one thing, but applying what one has learnt and putting this into practice takes time, and the constant and ongoing support I receive from the whole DYNA team is something that I cherish. We all work in busy environments at a hectic pace and it is heartwarming to know that there is always someone at DYNA to give us advice, support and yes even a cup of tea and "chocolate" cake.
The programme content is relevant and applicable to any business and industry being well researched and presented. The follow-up and support during and after the programme along with a knowledgeable and professional team is of the highest standard.
I can truly say that being on this programme and the constant interaction with Gavin and his team has changed my life and continues to do so. Thanks guys this programme is a must for anyone that is willing to change and become one of tomorrow's leaders.

I first sent somebody on the DYNA CORE Supervisory course about three years ago. It was immediately apparent that this course was different to previous Supervisory courses we had utilised. The attendees were very enthusiastic about attending. The format of a three week course over three months works very well with the learner being given homework and assignments between each segment.
I also like the interaction with DYNA in that they actually come to your company to discuss the learner's progress and how the learner can perform better at the next part of the course. At these feedback sessions, the learner's Supervisor and/or Manager are involved which adds to the learning process.
The learners not only learn the fundamentals of Supervision but they also learn a lot about themselves over the three months. They return to work highly motivated and keen to put into practice what they have learnt. The fact that people from many different companies from various sectors are involved in each course is also excellent in that the attendees learn a lot from the other course participants.
I also like the "graduation ceremony" which is held at the end of the course where the learner's Manager presents the course certificate to them. I always make a point of attending these as it shows that we, as Manager's, are interested in the employee's development.
Since that first participant, I have sent several people on subsequent courses and, without exception, all have enjoyed and learnt from the experience. I believe the course also provides amazing value for money given that the cost is less than one can pay for one or two days of a course or seminar these days. The DYNA CORE course has now become the standard Supervisory course for employees at Impala Platinum Refineries.
This serves to confirm Independent Newspapers KZN, has taken advantage of the DYNA Leadership programmes for its management development initiatives. These programmes are direct, simple and highly motivating, whilst at the same time focused on key management and people management priciples.
We highly recommend the Core and BMS programmes for leadership development initiatives.
Yours faithfully

I think that is an appropriate way to address this course or should I call it a mind altering experience.
From start to end this course adds value to not only your worklife but to your personal life and upliftment as a person. A course that needs to be attended by all levels at Toyota, especially management from Groupleader upward. The venue is of an exceptional standard and the facilitation by Derek is of an extremely high standard.
All in all I thouroughly enjoyed myself while learning the finer tools of people management.
Thank you.

In my experience over the past ten years plus I have found that staff members attending any of the DYNA courses return with: a wider and broader skill experience, an insight and focus on their own role, a cross-industry function appreciation and an understanding that most issues are common to many people.
Mostly the enthusiasm and purpose that is injected, on course and in projects, stays for a long time to the benefit of the organisation, immediate teams and stakeholders and the individual.
Thanks

The DYNA Core and BMS series of self-development programmes for management have helped expose candidates to fresh thinking, industry wide networking and benchmarking of personal performances. It has helped our teams prise open their own thinking and refresh their confidence and skills sets. It serves as a very complimentary tactical backbone to ongoing strategic academic pursuits. Has been a mainstay in my skills development plan for leaders in operations. Learners are quick to align themselves to the programme outcomes, especially when peers make reference to scenario's in the workplace, showing that learners have a good grasp of learnings and show adequate transference. Learners are more empowered to be the change, they want to see.
IDEALS CLOTHING RETAILER - Established for over 100 years in KZN
Ideals engaged with DYNA years ago after many months research into partnering with a world class training company. The need was to have a training programme that matched Ideals' philosophy and culture of professionalism and best practice for lower and middle management. DYNA's Core and BMS progremmes have served this need well.
The highly skilled facilitators together with a lively, fun and practical approach in their training methodology gave us no choice but to send more staff for training as their feedback and their improvement in attitude and performance at the work place proved that the programmes had a significant impact on Ideals.
DYNA's approach to training is at partnership level. Facilitators ensure that they visit the candidates during the course at their workplace to obtain valuable insight into their application of their learning at the workplace.
Ideals is proud to be associated with DYNA and its professional and highly skilled team from facilitation to logistics, DYNA is a well organized and professional training partner.
From a Behr perspective, the "return on investment" has been phenomenal - the research projects, the focus on time management, the interactive IR training has been unequivocally implemented at Supervisory and Management level and it is seen daily in the improved relationship with our workforce as well as the improvement in our business measures viz productivity, Operatable Equipment Effeciencies and absenteeism.
Both courses have provided us with the opportunity to change the conventional perspectives on the shopfloor and encourage our Supervisors to take accountability and responsibility for their actions within thir departments and the business as an entity.

If ever one could imagine themselves on top of a tall mountainous peak, absorbing the breathtaking views that would be on offer, would the sweetness of this reward be diluted if you landed on the peak by helicopter or would it be sweet as candy if you had to endure the intrepid journey yourself all the way to the top?
I walked into the conference room not having the smallest inkling that after a mere three days I would have climbed a mountain.
One of the first things I remember you saying was that you were not going to teach us anything, but we would be teaching ourselves.
How, I asked myself...........
This is my perception on the entertaining and vibrant course that you presented and facilitated.
The principle of "what you put in - is what you get out" was echoed on your course.
The presentation was put forward very well and was so easy to understand.
This made participation extremely easy and comfortable which is key to the individuals success.
I believe that I have benefitted in so many ways, so much so, that I'm able to apply the course content in my personal and family life.
It has created successes in my life that I can carry for many years to come and will continue to expand on the knowledge that was offered on the course.
The course was so beneficial that my work colleagues have taken note, that "something is different" about me.
I would highly recommend the BMS 200 course to any organization.
Thank you once again, till next time.

The Dealer Academy has worked with Dyna Training since 2007, in terms of their Coaching Programme known as CAP1 and CAP2.
We have utilized this programme for our Sales Cadet Programmes for Audi and VW, whereby both the coaches at the dealerships and the new trainees are orientated towards coaching. It is seen as a critical success factor in terms of developing successful sales persons in our dealer network.
We have found the approach of Dyna Training and all their staff/facilitators to be both professional and of a high standard.
In terms of some of the experiences of participants on the CAP1 and CAP2 Coaching Programme, this is what they have to say: -
• Informative, stimulating and fun!
• The experience was great!
• This was an excellent learning experience, well done!
• Extremely stimulating, lots of fun and informative.
• The best programme I have ever been on…
• A very professional and entertaining programme.
I think that business sense was one of the best programmes we did during our induction.
It was:
Relevant- we were taught the basic principles of business
Interesting- the method of teaching was very interactive
Methodological- we went through all the initial steps of starting a business in a logical manner
Practical – the act of actually making the ‘product’ (t-shirts and pants) made the implications of business practices such as production, teamwork, absenteeism and quality very real to us.
It was a very fun experience and everyone became quite competitive which is also part of business I should think.
The hands on training was the most entertaining I have had.
Simulation of "reality" by changes in the business environment - strike action needing negotiations, specials offers of suppliers for raw materials etc. all kept it fresh and varied.
Organising the work environment, deciding on which products to manufacture and looking at the expenses vs. profit and stream-lining operations showed direct results - particularly since it all happened in a "competitive environment" with your fellow colleagues.
Its been a while since doing this so considering I can remember these things the training did go well and was a memorable experience
The Business Sense program was highly beneficial because it gave us a practical and realistic view to the operating of a business.
I guess us grads were a bit naive, in the sense that we were have a sugar-coated version of what and how a business is and run.
For a lot us, I think we left with a new found sense of respect, and definitely got bitten by the entrepreneurship bug!!
To me it was one of the best programs of the training period and I believe that it is definitely a course that must stay in the grad program. It was practical and I learned a lot from it. Out of the ± 25 grads that attended only ± 5 of us raised their hands when we were asked if we work on a budget during the month. If you don't have a personal budget, how can you work with the budget of a company...?
I didn't only hear that the amount of different products made versus the time it took to make a product plays a huge role, I experienced it during the coarse while were making pants, shirts & skirts, therefore it was great to actually do practical work.
I enjoyed the business sense program because it refreshed my mind about the basics and the important aspects of being able to run a business. I personally would have liked the program to run over two days because there is a lot more business related issues that Claire and her assistant could have shared with us.
Another aspect that could have been included in the Business sense program was issues that pertain to us as graduates entering the working world such as what a tax return is and how to fill one in, a basic overview of the taxes we will be paying and what they mean. One other issue that would have been interesting would’ve been a quick run through on the stock market and how the different rates are affected by economical influencers.
I really enjoyed the program because it induced participation from all of the grads and everyone could add their input and theoretical knowledge in the groups we where assigned in.

We hereby confirm that we use Dyna Training’s CORE and BMS programmes as part of the management development approach for our Team Leaders and Managers. We’ve done this for the past 2-3 years and
have built a solid working relationship with the Dyna Training - Gauteng team.
These two management programmes are practical, experiential based and draw heavily on individual and group learning.
We’ve always experienced the Dyna team as professional, value adding and committed to delivering excellent management training that is practical and can be applied back to the workplace.
The support received from the Dyna team before, during and after the course delivery is always excellent.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank DYNA for the outstanding service they have provided to UTi Mounties. Their commitment and dedication towards our learners has been nothing less than outstanding. Throughout this year, we have sent delegates to attend the Core and BMS programme countrywide. Without a doubt, one can see the transition in the learners. This is not just "another" leadership course but also one that instills knowledge and skills, practically which helps the learners to implement in the working environment. The learners have grown personally and I have already seen considerable results. This was definately an investment for our staff.
Thanks again for your commitment towards our staff.
Well here we are at the beginning of a new year. As I sit here and reflect on 2005, and what an exciting year it was for all of us at Uti, I ask myself what made 2005 so exciting and there is one thing that comes to mind and that was our association with the dynamic Dyna team.
What made Dyna so special? Well firstly, the people. Sharon and Derek, you showed us a new meaning to Customer Service. Always willing, encouraging, professional and available. Driven by energy that never ended or faded. Always going not just the extra mile, but an extra 10 miles, not just for me but also all candidates who attended your sessions.
Secondly, you gave Training a new meaning. All of a sudden, training became exciting for so many who had in the past been very anxious. I had staff come to me asking me when they were going to one of Dyna’s training sessions. From Customer Sense to BMS to Core, the feedback was always positive. So many came away with new skills that were for once actually put into practice and made a difference, not only in the workplace, but in their home life as well. Fun, meaningful, wow and different were but just a few words given to describe how candidates felt.
The after sales service continued to surprise me. Certificates would arrive in record time, together with the much awaited group photograph. Then there were the follow up calls by Sharon. Always checking in on how I was doing and checking to see if there was anything she could assist me with. Now I don’t know of any other provider that would be interested in how I was doing, but then Dyna is not just another provider, we have come to see them as an extension to the Uti family.
Sharon and Derek, thank you for the wonderful experience in dealing with true professionals. I look forward to another exciting year with Dyna.
"In today’s competitive world, providing excellent customer service can be the critical difference in a company’s success. Excellent customer service doesn’t just happen! It requires strong and dynamic leadership who are able to make it happen by driving business performance through the team.
The DYNA CORE Supervisory Course is an effective training and development Formula that affords a company the opportunity to retain talent – building on existing strengths and growing identified areas for improvement. The course is a well balanced combination of theory and practice, giving an individual the opportunity to gain insight into the “Big Picture” of what it takes to become an effective manager of tomorrow.
The ICC Durban has over the years sent many talented individuals. The time, energy and effort put into the course by each individual has resulted in a supervisory team that makes it happen, working smarter rather than harder!
It is recommended that talented individuals, identified as future first line managers undergo this course as it would be a worthwhile investment for any company. The return on investment is a sustainable business with strong leadership who continue to succeed at achieving business success through the team into the future!
Congratulations on a dynamic training and development opportunity!"
"We would like to express our appreciation to you for such a dynamic learning experience that you have given to our employees who have attended your Core and BMS 200 programmes over the past few years. We have noticed great improvements on the part of our delegates, especially, with respect to time management, confidence, risk taking and generally, a change in the mindset. It would also be important to reflect that some of our employees who attended your programmes have been appointed into more senior positions.
The following aspects make the DYNA programmes unique from other training course interventions that I have come across in my training experience:
* Professional and dynamic approach of the facilitators
* DYNA team interacts with delegates back at work between phases
* Delegates are encouraged to complete practical growth projects
* Training is practical, relevant, modern and exciting
* Delegates get an opportunity to share experiences from different organisations which enhances the learning process
* The DYNA team continuously encourages support of delegates from their superiors
As DaimlerChrysler SA we have no doubt that your training programmes have substantially contributed towards the accomplishment of our endeavours.
Thank you once again for the outstanding programmes excellent service."

"This
letter serves to confirm that Dyna Training has presented
numerous training courses for our staff (ACSA) at Cape Town.
All our managers, department heads and supervisors have attended
the Business Management Program. Delegates at this level are
nominated by their managers/seniors and their progress is
monitored throughout the training period.
The CORE program is currently being utilized for staff who
are not supervisors but function in senior positions. Again,
a nomination process is followed to ensure that all senior
staff are trained and equipped with the necessary skills to
successfully perform their duties.
Managers and staff within all departments have been trained
with Dyna and I have only ever received positive feedback
from the students who attend these programmes. The pre-course
work, delegate profiles and continuous manager feedback has
been extremely effective and has added to the success of the
programs.
Dyna indeed is an Institute of superior standard within the
sphere of the Leadership development. I would also like to
commend them on their excellent course presentations, case
studies and the professional manner in which they operate
their business. They can also be complimented for their continual
willingness to accommodate our requests for training.
Courses that Dyna has presented over the past few years include
Business Sense, Business Management and CORE. As a result
of the excellent delegate feedback, relevance of the course
content, level of professionalism and high standard of
Service
Delivery it is our intention to utilize Dyna in our future

"I
would like to thank you for the momentous, positive impact
that Dyna has had on all areas of customer interaction in
the Vaal. I cannot recall one single intervention having such
a significant constructive effect on both morale and accountability
within our working environment.
The
results achieved at this specific branch after completion
of the workshop indicate that our customer approval rating
as measured by independent consultants has leapt up to levels
that far exceed our highest expectations.
I
am really looking forward to achieving similar results when
we go through the same process during the following five sessions.
I have no doubt that our potential to offer our customers
a 'value added' service will be greatly enhanced once we have
shared the Dyna philosophy with my entire compliment.
"We
have been dealing with Dyna for a long time in both Core and
BMS training. I must compliment you on the excellent relationship
that we have built with you. Not only are the courses that you
have facilitated of high standard, but the fact that you follow
up in between the different modules, is what we here at Appletiser
appreciate the most.
As
I went
through my records the other day, I found that we have been
dealing with Dyna since May 2000 and have since then sent
nineteen delegates on the CORE module and twenty five delegates
on the BMS module.
The delegates
that attended these training sessions came back to the work
place and immediately started to implement the things that
they have learnt. As I am running short of delegates to send
for training I want to know what the next intervention will
be after completing BMS.
Keep up
the good work and I hope that we will still have a long and
healthy relationship ahead of us."

As

I
believe the major reason for success is that they see them
as a partner and not just as a service provider. I highly
recommend them as a company.

you for the report on the QMS Training Workshop. From this

"We would like to place on record our satisfaction with
the positive results achieved following our employees' participation
on the CORE Supervisory programme. Managers and delegates alike
have commented favourably on the benefits derived, with some
delegates referring to this as a 'life-changing
experience".
Thank you, for providing the spark to bring about such positive
changes! Thank you too for your friendly and efficient
service.
May you go from strength to strength!"
We
have been using your training programme for some 3 years now
and I feel it is time to give you feedback regarding our experiences
as a result of our staff attending your courses.
I
have personally noticed that the delegates return highly motivated,
diligent, positive and behave with far more confidence in
the execution of their duties.
This
has resulted in our Management Team becoming far more focused
and willing to come forward with new ideas. I further confirm
that there has been a greater understanding with regards to
reducing and controlling their costs. The results have therefore
been positive and have enabled us to maintain our competitiveness
in an already highly competitive industry.
Thank
you for your outstanding and practical courses and we confirm
that our company will continue to make use of your services."
"I
attended the Dyna BMS Programme since my future prospects in
Petronet depended largely on the acquisition of management skills
in areas that I was not familiar with. The Dyna BMS training
provided that 'crystal ball', the foundation and platform to
practically implement these skills back at the workplace.
In
spite of the long hours on this programme, there was never
a dull moment with the Dyna professionals. The atmosphere
was always 'alive' and the training sessions stimulating.
The skills transferred is appropriate to current management
dynamics, sophisticated yet simple and effective. I also observed
growth in many delegates who moved from "I would rather
die than speak" to a "Bring it on brother"
attitude.
My
overall impression of this programme is that these are indeed
the best management skills I have acquired. Congratulations
on a Dynamic programme!"
"Dyna
Training has been selected by SAA as a provider of choice.
The training and facilitation process is still under way.
We at SAA found their interaction and service delivery exemplary.
I
am confident to recommend Dyna as a highly professional service
provider."
